Sjoe! Hier is nou sommer twee nuwe mense in Hillside. Len Struwig is sopas deur Gita aangestel om as bestuurder by Bright Star te werk Kom ons hoop hierdie man kan haar droogskoonmakery verander sodat sy darem 'n geldjie daaruit kan maak. Dan is daar die skaam outjie, Nico. Hy is Matrone se nuwe assistent in die boekwinkel. Hopelik sal hy die mas opkom onder Matrone se bestuurstyl... 7de Laan wins You’s Best Soapie Award

Saturday saw 7de Laan walking away with two of the coveted awards at this year’s “You Spectacular”.
Diaan Lawrenson (better known as Paula) won in the category “Favourite Actress” and she and hubby Jody were also nominated in the category “SA Couple of the Year.”
The cast who attended the glamorous event at Emperors Palace were also thrilled when 7de Laan’s name was read as “Favourite Soapie”. The event was attended by the who’s who of South Africa’s celebrity A list and actresses Melanie Du Bois (Felicity), Angelique Gerber (Clara) and Diaan Lawrenson accepted the award on behalf of the production.
The 7de Laan team is especially thrilled with the win as, like the SAFTA award which we won earlier this year, it is the viewers and readers that determine the winner. So thanks to You Magazine and of course thanks to all the loyal You readers and 7de Laan fans.
